Betfair Trading Platform (1325914)

Hi, I am looking to start what can (and I hope will) become a full application / ongoing big project. But first I would like to check the potential of my idea by getting a simple program designed. What I am looking for is to trade on Betfair. Indeed, I would like an application that alows me to log to any market of my choice and display the historical data of the odds. The point is for me to be able to apply indicators, curves etc like in any good trading software. Finally the program has to be able to save the prices. For now, I do not need to be able to place any bet through this program. This will come much later, once I determined the potential of my ideas. Please do not hesitate to propose any good ideas (original or "seen" on other similar software: betangel, bettrader pro and so on...), this will be rewarded. The more detailed requirements are as follow: - The software HAS to be in Java - connect to betfair API for free - log to any market, - recognize if the market is in-play or not - display the price history (back, lay, traded) - possibility to choose between several technical analysis tools - MUST be able to define/program new curves/indicators and save them for later use - can save the graph "view" for when the program is re-opened later - save the price data, specifiying time, if market is in-play or not etc (to be reusable easily: csv?) The refresh rate is of paramount importance. Below are some improvements for later (if that can help to define how to start the "first" part of this potentially big project): Second phase *********** - be able to bet - be able to display (and bet) simultaneously on several markets Third phase ********** - have the program do everything (a bot!) - connect to paid API to go faster ? (in phase four?) Fourth phase? *********** - extend to more bet exchanges ? This bid is only for phase 1. I wrote some infos about the 3 others to give a view of where I want to go in the future. Also, if everything goes fine, and the testing shows profitable results, I would like to continue working on the other phase (by opening a new bid for eg). Thank you
