Joomla 3 minor Website Development

We have a joomla 3 website which needs some amendments. This is a very small site with under 15 pages in total. It needs to be tidied up and complete.

It has both Chinese and English content. We do not expect you to speak Chinese. Just copy and paste from Google translate if need be for anything you are unsure of.

Not all of the content has yet been added. The back end needs to be organized so that our client can go in and easily amend the content. We mainly require you to ensure the back end is completely tidy and organized into easy to manage categories and languages so the client can easily amend everything they need to. Every page must have its own page linking to the relevant menu item etc for both languages.

Our client has building projects which fall into three categories: Under Development, Developed and Pipeline projects.

Our client will need to add projects easily with pictures and some basic info. When the project changes from Pipeline to developed for example our client should easily be able to change the category. Then the users of the site should be able to easily view the projects in the relevant category. This is mainly set up and just needs to be made easy for the client to edit. Please add more sample projects in both Chinese and English. We will provide you with the content to add. Please ensure the sub menu project stages on the left side of the project page remain open so that the user of the site can click on the relevant project stage to take them to the projects in that category.

There is also a project map page. When hovering over the map the user of the site should see the projects pop up which can then be clicked on to take the user to the relevant project.

We have designed most of the pages on psd including the map and popup samples. Please implement this functionality. Any added projects should appear as popups on the map also. It should appear as a circle which once hovered over shows the popup project.

As not all the content is there but please make sure all the menu items, modules articles and projects are set up so that the client can just go in and find it easy to know where to edit the relevant page content.

Please ensure there is Chinese content everywhere on the site. It should completely match the English site. If you are unsure of the Chinese then please just go to Google translate and translate the menu items and content manually using copy and paste and then paste the translated text back into joomla. Don’t worry if it is not 100% correct as we can alter it after.

Please make sure the contact forms work in both languages and have captcha enabled.

Please also check to ensure the template works across all browsers including IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Please also ensure the English/Chinese language selection is present on all pages as sometimes it disappears.

Please work directly on the live site as it is already on a test server. The client will check its stages from here. This work should not take you more than 2 days. When most it is done the client may provide us with some additional content which we will then add ourselves to ensure it is easy for us to do as we will be showing our client how to add content themselves afterwards. We will create one milestone and pay it once the work is fully complete.

We expect this project to be complete, signed off and paid by the end of the week so please work fast and efficiently. We require workers who can get started on this today. We look forward to receiving your bids.
