The character can be donwloaded from here: <[login to view URL]> The trial chracterbuilder application can be downloaded : <[login to view URL]> The development kit from here (for registered users of the software, and provided free of charge, I am registered user) <[login to view URL]> You need to design a profile and character that can be manipulated and used to create flash characters in character builder. 1) All the options as in character 'Dave' provided by the character builder application (eyes movement, lipsink and so on is already done there) 2) all possible body movements 4) all possible rotations of the body, and all possible positions of the body and movement and rotation of all body parts and joints (not limited to but some examples: eyes closing, rotation of head, sitting, standing, reaching, legs movement, hands movement and all possible others, laying down, folding hands and legs, turning around, moving head). When you installthe Extensibility Kit, it adds an Illustrator subdirectory with source files, and more importantly anew New Project template, "Custom Character Test Project". When running under Vista, pleasestart the CB using Run As Administrator for this template. Then you'd select Dave as a base andselect a new name, e.g. MyDave - this copies the Dave character to the MyDave character andsets it up for development, as described in the extensibility kit document, located in the Help menu. If you add new actions then you will actually need to modify the "animation library" xml file. Youwill need a new "image link" to pull out the new art layers. The new "custom actions" can be specifiedin the .msx file so that they appear under the "action" icon dropdown.
