Web pages development/improvement

Hi RE: website optimisation and added functionality I'm developing a website selling career success resources. You can see the rough draft stage it is in at [url removed, login to view] This project will suit you if you have some understanding of info product marketing sites. I am NOT looking for a typical company website. I need it formated and optimised so that it looks professional and is clean and fast. At a minimum it has to look better than my first site at [url removed, login to view] (I did this one by myself.) I'm getting the header graphic worked on by someone else although if you can use the photo and the logo graphic to come up with a better header i use instead I'd pay you a bonus. I'm open to your suggestions but this is how I see the project needs... I need 4 pages: 1. the homepage you've just seen 2. An order page 3. download/members page which can stream some MP3 audio 4. a contact me page with a contact form (rather than having the spambots grabbing my email address) I want your recommendations for improving the security of my download/members page in a cost effective manner. Password protection is my preference. Your job if you win the bid is too save me time and get a better result without me getting caught up in technical hitches. I have to be able to edit and change what you've done (add new landing pages etc.) using a simple web editor such as NVU so the web design technology that you use should not be too complicated. I may need a little support from you if I have any problems adding to or adjusting what you've done. You need to be a good operator with good english skills and offer a competitive bid... no large corporate budget here... sorry! ;D I'll do my best to communicate clearly, not mess you around and be a good client! ## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).

Must be optimised to run on both IE and Firefox. I plan to use [url removed, login to view] to put an email capture/newsletter opt-in on the top left of homepage. Possibly an email capture exit pop-up also. Don't need a shopping cart but will be interested in any recommendations for integrating an affiliate program. We can use the template already at [url removed, login to view] or you can change it if you have something we agree is better. I would like css to be used so I can change formating easily. I have a script ....[url removed, login to view] which I was planning to use to automatically add my customers who purchase to my customer email list. Please show me some of your previous websites when you bid.
