Convert a weblog which is written in ASP/VB Script to run with SQL server instead and install on my new website. I will deliver a zipped copy of the current software. The programmer would verify that the software as it is currently written does work with the mdb file provided and then modify the code to work with SQL instead of Access and then upload to the site and verify that it works. If the programmer has never worked with testing code with an mdb file, he/she may need to refer to a description of how the permissions have to be set to make that code work ("<[login to view URL]>"). If the programmer does not like the code I am using then I would accept a generic substitute. I just want a weblog that uses the SQL server and I want to be able to change the code. The minor details of the appearance are not important so if the programmer has already created his/her own weblog software then that would probably work just fine.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
The final code can be written in any language which is available on an IBM PC and I think that includes every language used. Right now the code is VBScript. The name of the company that hosts the site is terrasite.com.
