I am in need of a standalone web browser (in one .exe) that will display HTML and process Javascript full screen for an interactive CD-ROM project.
Java applet support would be nice as well.
Here's the problem that is trying to be solved: Our client needed a content section for totalling various options a customer could select. We did it in HTML and Javascript. Unfortunately, there are too many variables on the client end once they load it with their default browser (pop-up blockers, security, Javascript turned off, etc.) for this approach to work in the real world. So, we need to provide a web browser that will work with this content from the CD-ROM itself.
