There is a site that lists all real estate properties for sale
in Canada. The site's URl is [[login to view URL]][1]
This website has a pretty advanced search engine throught
their database. They sort properties by province, city,
type of properties.
The idea behind my project is to create a resource where
users will be able to access historical data about property
listings in their area.
Right now users go to [login to view URL] and see for how much property
listed in Toronto for instance. My site will provide them
historical data about the properties in the same area.
I will need a spider that will crawl all content of [login to view URL]
every week, and put it into the similar database that [login to view URL]
has all the information about the listings. The most important
information is address of the property, and price. Maybe also
a property description. Every week , or two the databse will
be updated. Users that visit the site don't have to see
pictures, they are only interested to get information for how
much property wa sold in the same block/area/street/address
in the past.
If you have better ways to achieve creation of my site
please let me know. It doesn't matter what database
you are going to use. Delivery suppose to be a fully working website. Please do not bid if you can't deliver in predefined period of time.
