I have approx. 100 PDF files which contain approx 10 drawings (pages) each. What I am looking for to be able to do is extract each page and automatically name it with information contained within the page, the drawing number and title to be precise. the drawing number and title are in roughly the same location in each page (always bottom right).
So for example in File [login to view URL] I have say 10 drawings, the fisrt drawing is for example drawing number "1234-234-20-10" and it's title is "Plan 1", I would need to extract this drawing, create a new pdf and it's name would be "1234-234-20-10 Plan [login to view URL]". This would be the case for all drawigns in the file.
Ideally you will create a program that I can use on my own system, that will look in a specified directory, open the .pdf files, read them, create a new pdf file for each drawing and put the new file in a directory.
If it helps I can convert the .pdf file back to individual tiff files, and then bulk convert back to .pdf once the renaming is completed. But I still need them renamed automatically by a piece of software.
You should have experience of doing something similar before.
Thanks for looking.
