The basic features that this site must incorporate include:
• A registration and secure payment processing area which includes exclusive members area via login(We have already purchased this script(openCrypt) just needs to be integrated into our website design.)
• A database for results of each race and detailed reports and statistics of each horse, track, driver, etc
Requirements
• Create a mysql database using our existing ms access data and produce statistics and reports in the website based on this data.
• Some refining of CSS and html code of our website template may be needed.
• Development of an intuitive and fast navigation scheme and interface for the statistical reports of the database.
• The integration of a powerful but easy to use Content Management System to allow for easy updates of our site. This CMS must allow for a relatively non-technical administrator to be able to upload data, edit text and images, add new pages and make design or layout changes if necessary. In addition, it must also allow for updates to be made to the database if needed
• A way to update the racing database daily and automatically using data mining (can be a separate project in future if needed)
• Testing of the site on various browsers and screen resolutions for inconsistencies (Microsoft Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera etc).
