We have the need for an experienced PHP programmer that can jump in and make fixes and enhancements to our existing system/website. Before I talk about the job requirements here are some expectations & specs: * Programmer MUST be able to communicate fluently in English. * DEADLINE: The project needs to be completed by the 10th June. * Website is built using PHP & MySQL. * Experience building and distributing RSS feeds. * Flexibility. This is an evolving project and the programmer MUST be able to adapt to my needs. I am very fair and account for these changes in price and timeline. Here are some specifics on what needs to be done: 1) There are some bugs in the current system as well as some forms and other small issues that need to be repaired right away. I won't go into each detail but I would account for 2-3 hours of programming to complete these. 2) Our current system allows users to copy/paste JavaScript on their website that displays specific content. We need some tracking built into this. We need to track every time the JavaScript is called on a users website and record the Users ID & other information which is stored in the query string that is present in the pasted JS code. Merchants, the ones subscribing to distribute the content to the users, should be able to break down the statistics by date range and users ID, as long as a few more specifics. There is no current reporting function and this feature is what I call “from scratch” but of course will need to be integrated into our current system both programmatically and design. 3) RSS export. I want to give our users that ability to build custom RSS feeds that they can distribute through the use of their website. Currently the user can retrieve many different “coupons”, but needs to go back and forth choosing it from Merchant to merchant, the code that they get is in either, JavaScript as mentioned above or static HTML. I would like the user to be able to pick one coupon add to RSS feed, pick another add to RSS feed, etc… and then when complete give the necessary data for them to syndicate it (the data THEY have chosen) to their website. I would also like some recommended Open Source tools that we can modify and allow our users to help them syndicate the data. 4) Import data. Currently our merchants need to fill out a form to create each individual “coupon”. This information, which consists of about 5-6 fields that they fill out via a form, is recorded into the database to be used through the site. I need a tool that will be integrated into the site that will allow merchants to build a CSV or Excel file of ALL of their coupons, and import it into the system for easy population. This will take some good error handling skills as if the file they try to import is off just by a character or small modification it needs to deliver a recommendation on what to change. Thanks for all your bids.
