Batch processing and editing of images

Hi! Project description: I will send you a 52 MB large zipped file consisting of 203 folders, named 001-203. Each of those folders have five JPEG-images, named [folder name][login to view URL], [folder name][login to view URL] etc (example: [login to view URL]). So in total, there are 1015 images (of hotels, hotel rooms and hotel surroundings). For each and every image, I want you to: 1. Open it in Photoshop/GIMP 2. Resize it to a width of 593 pixels. 3. Crop it to a height of 225 pixels. NOTE: Do NOT do this 100% automated, as I need the images to be cropped with each picture's essential theme intact, which varies - each image needs to be aesthetically balanced/composed. 4. Remove JPEG compression artefacts, as far as possible. (Most images will be upscaled from their original sizes.) 5. Adjust levels, contrast etc. 6. Save the image in JPEG format, quality/compression rate 9. 7. Once a folder (5 images) is complete - I need the first image (named [folder name][login to view URL]) to be an image of a hotel room. If not available, choose an image of the actual hotel. Rename the images accordingly (just switch names), if necessary. 8. When finished, zip all the folders and distribute via [login to view URL] or similar (free service, requires no registration).
