Looking for a very high level Perl programmer to work on upgrades to an existing website construction and CMS system operating on a Linux web server. Original programmer has become unavailable and we are looking for a long term replacement to initially handle a list of system upgrades and ultimately to be available on a monthly retainer to address bugs and issues which crop up from time to time. Initial upgrade work will be handled task by task on a quote basis.
The specific initial project the subject of this quote request is to add Facebook SHARE and Twitter TWEET buttons to the news stories the InstaPage Standard and Gold products publish to the websites.
Please note:
• The InstaPage system is VERY sophisticated - only extremely experienced and talented Perl programmers need apply.
• Competent English skills are MANDATORY to avoid misunderstandings in communication.
InstaPage ([login to view URL]) is a two version product for building and managing homeowners association websites constructed on our dedicated Linux server at a San Diego, CA hosting subcontractor. InstaPage Standard is a centralized, template system which allows automated site creation in real time and easy maintenance through a proprietary CMS (Content Management System). InstaPage Gold is a slightly more sophisticated, standalone version of the product. The code is principally written in Perl and JavaScript. The product is of multi-level design:
Multi-Levels:
• Master Level (Our Company Control Panel)
• Management Company (Mgt. Company Administrator Control Panel)
• Homeowner Association (HOA Site Administrator Control Panel)
• HOA Sub-Admin (HOA Site Sub-Administrator Control Panel)
Additionally, there is a mechanism for facilitating direct public sales through [login to view URL] (sites built under Management Company account in our name).
There is a copy of the system that has been setup on our server at an IP# to enable upgrades without disruption to the live system. This account will be made accessible through FTP for bidders to inspect upon request.
