Hi, I'm a UK (Manchester) based Electrical and Electronic engineer, I have a keen interest in upcycling and prototype electronics design, with a background in developing small scale commercial embedded systems, including the design of any PCBs, and the development of all accompanying firmware. I think I have a good idea of what you want and a few approaches that could be taken to achieve this, including with low cost, locally sourced parts, depending on your overall goals with regards to whether this is for a one off or for a large number of units.
