iPhone app: video + social networking features

Project Description Hi! We’re looking for a developer to work remotely in a small team with focused and well directed guidance. The project is a video app for iOS. *****Please read carefully***** Please note, we would like to first begin with a small project that is just a few hours (3-5 hours) to complete to get to know new the team or individual we are working with and the quality of work. For the right developer we have months of full-time work available. THIS WILL BE PAID WORK. If you are not willing to demonstrate a small sample of you work before going full-time with us, please do not apply. Expected tasks will include working with: • Swift 2 • MVVM — RxSwift / RxCocoa • User interface (UIKit) • Camera APIs (AVFoundation) • HTTP networking (Alamofire, REST APIs) • Packaging (Carthage) • Video (mp4, filters, trimming) • Relational database (CoreData) • Version control (git, github) We are new to freelancer and outsourcing our work, we have an estimated 800+ hours of development we need to fill and we are looking to start small and quickly ramp up our production with the right developer or team who is skilled in iOS development. *****Development using standard engineering principles is expected — DRY / modularity / maintainability / separation of concerns. This is a critical aspect of our requirements.***** Code will be reviewed by one of our engineers and will be required to following existing architecture patterns and coding style. Full-time hours is ideal, however If you’re a good developer but don’t have a lot of time, no problem we still would like to work with you. We have a standard service agreement contract that covers non-disclosure and project ownership. I Look forward to discussing our project with developers interested in working with us.
