Mobile communication app

We need development of a 3-screen hybrid mobile app that will capture and send voice messages. At minimum, we will need you to generate a QR code that installs the app from our website. Successful submission to the Android Marketplace is a bonus. Also, if you can port this to iOS, you're likely to get that job too. An excerpt from the requirements document is below. Please consult the attached document for more detailed information. Purpose: The purpose of this app is to provide customers of TelWorx Communications with a simple means of requesting product quotes in the field using voice recordings or text. A guiding principle of this project is convenience to the [login to view URL], minimal complexity is imperative. This app is a new product, so compatibility with past versions is not an issue. 2.1 XML Configuration File To accommodate unforeseen changes, certain configurations shall be fed by an XML file hosted on the TelWorx website. 2.2 Graphic User Interfaces There shall be 3 GUI screens in TWMQ: Quote, Contacts, and Setup. 3.2.1 Setup On initial launch, the user shall enter the “Setup” screen and be prompted to fill in 4 required fields: 1. Your Full Name [Alphanumeric Text field. No validation except NOT EMPTY] 2. Your Mobile Number [validate for domestic USA phone number] 3. Your Email Address [validate for email address] 4. TelWorx Sales Team [validate as selected] – a “select” style field to choose from options specified in the XML file. The selected option will define an email address used by the Main Interface below. Setup shall conclude with a conventional “Done” button at top right that returns the user to the Main Interface (see below). After the initial launch, this screen shall be accessible from a “Setup” button at lower right. 3.2.2 Main Interface Once setup has been completed, Launching the app shall bring up the Main Interface. Suggested screenshot at right: In addition to the basic navigation at bottom, there are two points of contact: Touch to VoiceQuote and Touch to TextQuote. Touch to VoiceQuote: 1. Background changes from green to red 2. “Touch to TextQuote” icon disappears 3. “Cancel” button shall appear at the top right 4. Text changes to “Speak Now. Touch Again to Send.” The initial touch starts an audio recording. “Cancel” cancels the recording. A second touch of the VoiceQuote Button ends the recording and emails the audio file to the Sales Team selected in Setup. The email shall also include remaining setup fields (Full Name, Phone, Email). Voice should be stored in an efficiently compressed format that can be read by standard Windows Media Player version 8 or later. Recording time limit is 90 seconds. Touch to TextQuote: 1. A conventional text entry mode shall appear (keyboard at bottom, entered text at top)/ 2. “Cancel” button shall appear at the top right A “Go” button on the keyboard or other conventional interface shall send the entered text as an email to the Sales Team selected in Setup. The email shall also include remaining setup fields (Full Name, Phone, Email). 3.2.3 Contacts This GUI shall use a conventional contact-listing interface to display contact information for the Sales Team selected in Setup. Each Sales Team shall have several points of contact. Example: Team Email Address (used for VoiceQuote & TextQuote, but not shown in Contacts) Inside Sales Manager Name, Phone w/ext, Mobile Phone, Email Business Development Director Name, Mobile Phone, Email Sales Assistant #1 Name, Phone w/ext, Mobile Phone, Email Sales Assistant #2 Name, Phone w/ext, Mobile Phone, Email In addition to these Sales Team-specific contacts, a list of general contacts should also be loaded from the XML file.
