Dear all,

I am seeking a WHM expert who would assist in:

1- Migrating my existing WHM from a VPS to a dedicated server (ofcourse that will including installing WHM on the new dedicated server)

2- Utilizing WHMExtra to secure and hardening my server

3- I am currently using [login to view URL] as SMTP relay for sending emails from any of my CPanel accounts, you expected to know how to do this integration

4- On SendGrid account, there should be some customization where I can sort the number of sent emails per domain. to make this done, you need to understand the concept of "Categories" on SendGrid and here below is some tip would help.

"Sorting by domain can only be done if you implement Categories in your sends, there is no way to do this with the activity feed in the UI. Setting up Categories will allow Category Stats to populate and you can designate domains to be Categories."

You can add categories to the X-SMTPAPI header of the emails you send via SendGrid, here is an example of what the X-SMTPAPI header would look like:

The X-SMTPAPI header is a JSON-encoded associative array consisting of several sections. This header can be added to any SMTP message sent to SendGrid and the instructions in the header will be interpreted and applied to that message’s transaction.

Example of a Category section in the header:

While the X-SMTPAPI header is designed to be used with SMTP, it can also be used with our Web API v2 Mail Send call:

Here the X-SMTPAPI header is added as an additional parameter to the Web API call.

Regardless if you send mail via SMTP or Web API you need to ensure that the X-SMTPAPI header includes the TO field and is in valid JSON and . You can check the validity of the JSON here:

Once you have implemented the X-SMTPAPI header and designated Categories within it then your mail will start populating Category Stats as long as they are included in the header.

We did just launch our Web API v3 yesterday and this actually eliminates the need of the X-SMTPAPI header. Take a look at these docs and see if perhaps this method of setting up Categories is easier for you:
