Hi I would like to know your site url and have a list with your site extensions. The migration procedure affects components, plugins. modules and the website template. The first thing to do is a research about your extensions to find if they are compatible with the 2.5 version. If they are not then I have to suggest you a similar or better extension and migrate the content from the old to the new extension. The upgrade takes place in my demo server and once is completed I am moving it to the live server replacing your live site. If you provide me a link then I could give an accurate quote and the estimated time of delivery. Usually it takes 2-3 days but I cannot answer for sure. I have worked with Joomla! since it's inception at version 1.0 after it was forked from it's original format called Mambo. I have a website currently running the latest version which is 3.3.2. I will download your site to my local server and back up the files and the mysql database before I make any changes. I will ensure that it works on my live server environment before I upload the new version to your server. I will then run testing to ensure all the database tables are intact. Some modules and components may not be available for version 2.5 but we would need to evaluate those issues as we encounter them. Migrating your site between different Joomla versions can be anywhere between 1 hr to 10 hrs + as it really depends on the 3rd party modules, components and plugins you have and if they are compatible with the newer versions. As this will be my first project on Freelancer.com, I have reduced my rate to get some history and traction. Questions: Do you have a link to your existing site? Do you know what your main 3rd party components and modules are?
