JS animation

I require an article loading animation for a wordpress theme, similar to this [login to view URL] You click the article on the homepage, the loading bar fills and then the article shows, with a cross in the top corner to close the article. The example above can be used and modified, i have attached some images to show what my loading bar will look like, since my posts layout differs from the example used. The 'category' button will collapse into a 2px line and then act like a loading bar, the same as in the example, and slowly slide across before fading out and the article popping in.
