Task 1
Develop a CRM strategy for SWEETS AS (e.g. ch. 11 & 17). The CRM strategy must at least contain the
target, goal and vision, KPIs, assessment of social media, and a plan for sales, marketing and customer care.
Task 2
SWEETS AS has narrowed down their choices to SugarCRM or Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Discuss critically;
what would be the most appropriate system for SWEETS AS? And why? Explain and argue-for and against
the two scenarios and give the company a recommendation.

Part II- Practical
SWEETS AS is very pleased of the CRM strategy you have presented in part I. They have asked you now to
demonstrate how SugarCRM functionalities could aid them in achieving their strategy. The functionalities
should aid the sales and marketing people to attain their goals. The company also asked you to do some
extra customization to the system to fit their business and user needs.
Tasks
Task 1
Create your own demo data to demonstrate with 3 functionalities/activities on SugarCRM that could aid
SWEETS AS marketing or sales staff in doing a better job, make better decisions, better team work, or
better engagement/response with their customers.
Task 2
Describe briefly how the functionlities you have demonstrated are related to the strategy you have
previously submitted.
Task 3
SWEETS AS have asked you to add some last-minute features to the CRM system. They suggested that you
should make customization to at least two of the suggested new requirements, in addition to a logo
change.
The needed customization are:
Mandatory task
1. In order to personalize the system to the company, replace the SugarCRM logo with SWEETS AS’s
logo. The logo is available in the Assignment folder, or you can create your own design.
Choose only two of the following:
2. Add an additional language to SugarCRM for foreign employees (e.g. Spanish).
3. Change the SugarCRM theme.
4. Add extra extensions/modules to the CRM System, like Google Maps infusion, Facebook employee
login, etc…
Provide screen shots for all of the tasks to prove that the tasks have been completed successfuly.
The more complex the task is, the higher the bonus is!
Tip: The extensions/modules and language pack require to be compatible with the SugarCRM version you
installed. You might need to install a newer or older version of SugarCRM if required
