Part 1
Create a class called Module Grader
Within the class, create a method called gradeModule, which takes a mark (e.g. 65) as
parameter and returns a grade (e.g. “Good”).
Write another method called getValidModuleMark, this method will prompt user for
keyboard input and validate a mark in the range 0 to 100. It will keep prompt until a valid
input has been taken.
Write a third method called startModuleGrading, the method will start with displaying
"*********** Module Grading Program *********", it will then prompt for a module mark
to grade. For a valid mark, the grade will be printed on screen. The system will then ask the
user a yes/no (y/n) whether he/she would like to continue grading. This method needs to
call the methods developed in ii) and iii) above.
Write a TestModuleGraderxxxx class to test each method.
Part 2
create a DegreeGrader_xxxx class, where your exam ID forms part of the class name – for
example DegreeGrader_xxxx, where xxxx is your exam ID.
Within the class, create a method called gradeDegree, which takes four first attempt results
(i.e. all module average. ISM module average, number of compensentable failed credits,
number of outright failed modules) as parameters and returns the degree classification (e.g.
“distinction”, “merit”, “pass” or “fail”).
Write one or more methods that will prompt user for keyboard input for all module average,
ISM module average, number of compensentable failed credits, and number of outright
failed modules. The methods should also validate the input (e.g. module average in the
range 0 to 100, number of compensentable failed credits in the range of 0-180, and number
of outright failed modules in the range of 0-11). It will keep prompt until valid inputs have
been taken.
Write a further method called startDegreeGrading, the method will start with displaying
("*********** Degree Classification Program *********", it will then prompt for results to
grade. For valid results, the grade will be printed on screen. The system will then ask the
user a yes/no (y/n) whether he/she would like to continue grading. This method needs to
call the methods developed in vii) and viii).
Write a TestDegreeGraderxxxx class to test each method.
Must be written in Java Eclipse IDE
Please submit the following:
Report in PDF (or word) format, which includes
Source code for ModuleGraderxxxxx, DegreeGraderxxxx, Test classes.
Evidence of ALL testing and outputs (screen dumps and file).
An electronic version of each part of your program
