I need help customising jquery datepicker for my shopify store. I need to be able to disable specific dates (for public holidays and so on) and Sundays if possible.
If possible, once the date has been picked if you are able to also adjust the default date format to display as dd-mm-yy that would be great.
Below is the code that I have so far which is currently disabling weekends which I need adjusted to achieve the above.
Thanks!

<div style="width:90%; clear:both;">
<p><label for="date"><strong>Preferred delivery day:</strong><br>(from next business day if ordered by 5pm)<br>We do not deliver On Sundays or public holidays.</label>
<input id="date" type="text" name="attributes[date]" value="{{ [login to view URL] }}" />
</p>
</div>
<script>
jQuery(function() {
jQuery("#date").datepicker( {
minDate: +1,
maxDate: '+2M',
beforeShowDay: [login to view URL]
} );
});
</script>
