It might be your lucky day, GolfInstructionGuy! I'm a semi-retired software developer, who also loves to golf. I'm a US developer, and am quite good, but am often willing to take projects for rates competitive with overseas developers, just because I still love to code.
I have multiple apps written for both Blackberry and iPhone, and have top-notch engineering credentials (Caltech and Stanford). My university degrees were actually in aeronautics, so I'm sure any golf-related physics you might need to code into the app would be no problem.
My most humble qualifications would be my golfing ability. I'm currently about a 12 handicap, but have been as low as a 9. Still, not bad, considering that I play with my grandfathers' blades!
I understand you need to keep your idea confidential for now, which is fine. If your idea gets too involved, my bid may need to be adjusted a little, but as I said, for stuff like this, I actually do bid competitively with the overseas crowd. And I'm just right across the Sound from you in Seattle!
