I have some money on deposit here for quite awhile and don't know how to get it back out so I am going to spend it :)
How about we start with something simple that can be a shell for many things like a Split-View table thing something like this:

Here is a video of it in action:

Of course I am not talking about such a polished finished product but a shell where the Popovers say stuff like "Item 1, Item 2, Item 3, etc...hopefully fed from a plist file or something modular like that instead of a huge hard-coded array statement :)
I do LOVE the NON-STANDARD table view (with category groups) on the popover that is much better looking than the standard default AND the scrolling textbox details over the image are pretty cool and useful too. The different views for Portrait and Landscape are pretty important as Apple wants you to have that but any other bell & whistles you see are up to you if you want to add of not. Like I said, nothing specific, just showing that you can make similar actions happen and it can be molded in to something after the basic template is made.
Let's Recap:
I am talking about a Sexy Good Looking split view controller with custom looking tables and groups with transparency as shown in the examples. I am not looking to pay someone for the standard iPad split view table you can find in any book or tutorial around the net.
