Fixing problems on an outdated Coldfusion website Problems using Coldcourse URL rewriting. It appears that the ColdCourse application was specifically developed for ColdFusion 7 & 8 and hasn't been updated since 2007. The error that is being thrown "Element coldcourse is undefined in a Java object of type class [[login to view URL];." is due to the cgi.path_info variable being blank which can be verified by dumping the CGI variables on the server with <cfdump var ="#CGI#">. You should be able to work around this issue by updating your "cgi.path_info" references to be what their application is expecting.
