Graphic Design and Book Illustration Help

I have written several children's books that need design help. The characters have already been shaped but I could use help with the covers, some design elements including thoughts on fonts as well as some more dynamic components including QR codes, etc. I also need help resizing PDFs and different media types. I've attached one of the covers to this message. I like the general direction of the design but am hoping to clean it up a bit and add things like prices, some changing of words around, etc.
