PLEASE BE SURE ABOUT THE NECESSARY SKILLS FOR THIS PROJECT BEFORE APPLYING: Good medical english and knowledge of german language are critical! A person is sought who can proofread the medical texts translated into English so that they can be easily understood by American learners. This person should have MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE and BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF GERMAN. I have designed 15 online courses as an introduction to human physiology. They have a narrator and according to his story the images and texts in the display change. Now we have to check the first translated text claims (and quiz questions) for correctness. Of these 15 modules, 3 have now been translated into English and two of these 3 modules need to be proofread. An MS-WORD file will be delivered, in which the texts have to be checked for their precise translation. They can be corrected in this file directly with the verification function of MS-WORD. At the same time, the modules are made available to the proofreader in German if he has to check the contextual meaning. Some sentences are translated several times or they are simple prompts or information from the program. If we set a price of 0,03 per word for medical proofreading, then the proofreading would have a prize of 190 Euro.
