I have a need for someone to create a basic file process that takes an excel file, adds two worksheets and re-formats the data. The process will involve;
a) Opening the file.
b) Entering a date into a field.
c) Pushing a button that creates two extra worksheets sheets
d) The first extra worksheet will have the data formatted so that two fields are concatenated into a new column. A new column will also need to be added with a unique id for each record.
e) The second sheet will need to include the records form the first sheet with the new unique ID. It will also need to have some additional columns added with some default data in these two columns. Some of the data will also need to be transposed and duplicated. This second sheet is more involved than the first sheet.
f) Once the file has been completed it will need to have a new file name and date.
A sample file can be supplied of the fields when required.
