Hi, I am looking to automate an awards point system. Each week we have an excel spreadsheet that automatically generates from our system listing the following information: NameID (unique number) Name Points The points update everyweek - I want to upload this points data into a database that can automatically update the records already contained in the system. From this I want the system then to have the ability to determine if the person gets a medal or trophy E.g. John Smith has 1001 points and now is eligible for a Bronze medal I want to be able to set the levels that database flags that person now gets a medal E.g Bronze = reached 1000 points Sivler = reached 2500 points I also want to have the ability to have a yes/no option for each level of the medal/trophy when the person reaches that level e.g. Award prepared? Award given? Photo taken with Award? Photo posted to Social Media? I also want to have the ability to 'inactivate' a person's data if they leave the compertition. I want to have the data still there if they return, but not on an 'Active' list of participants. After this is all set up of, I would like a GUI that can easly show the current medal recipients and the information about the award prep/given/phototaken etc, a function that allows data update, see a list of participants and area to mark inactive participants, the ability to have a logo included at a future time and some sort of lock that does not allow staff to see the backend and accidentally delete data. If more information is required, I will be able to provide it.
