I need someone with a background in linguistic to help me find US English equivalents for the Chinese phonemes that are not available in English.
an American may not be able to pronounce "Xiaoyu" with the correct phonemes. but what is the closest thing that an American can pronounce within his/her phonetic inventory?
there are perhaps about 5-15 conversion rules
I know it sounds vague, but I will provide you detailed information and examples if you put a bid
I have done it for some other languages and the output of the project is usually half a page long so not a big project really!
