Help with simulink for a DC charging system for EVs

Hi I am working on designing a fast DC charging for EVs using the multiphase interleaved buck converter (IBC) topology as the DC charger. The charging power can reach 350 kW with 1000V and 350A output charging current in order to reduce the charging time. Obviously, to reach to this high charging current, five (IBCs) are connected in parallel each rated at 70 kW (70A). Anyhow, my issue is with the simulation results in Simulink. The SoC of the battery model in Simulink is increasing when this amount of high current is applied, however, it's increasing VERY slowly even though the charging current is very high! So pls let me know if you could help with this issue? Regards, Mohammed

Hi, I am a post graduate power electronics engineer and having very good experience in product design and development. I am excellent in SMPS, supplies design from few watts to KW range using Buck, Boost, Buck -boost, Push Pull and H-bridge inverters I am excellent in solar, wind, Micro grid, smart grid and IEEE bus systems development in MATLAB Simulink Design, PSPICE, PSIM ,MULTISIM and LTSpice , Proteus Simulations. I did many projects for MS and PhD thesis like grid connected solar, wind, wave energy grid connected systems using MPPT, Multi-level converters, Inverters with different control algorithms, hybrid systems development and D-STATCOMs, FACTS devices for power stability, quality and control electrical vehicles, inductor motors. I worked for vehicle design simulation for different applications. I use to design Solar with MPPT using buck, buck-boost topologies, Power quality and control using Active filters, Opamp based circuit, digital circuits etc. I understand your requirement and ready to work for you. Please contact me for further discussion.

Dear Sir / Mam, I have earlier worked extensively with Simulink on various converter models using the Power System and Power Electronics toolbox and also with self-developed dynamic simulation models. I also have experience in working on the control system of such converters. You can access my IEEE publication on IEEE Explore for your reference. I am sure that I will be able to help you with this issue as I have myself spent hours in debugging Simulink models when I was a Masters student pursuing Power Systems. Looking forward to work with you.
