Hello Mr. Murphy,
You're right, a lot of people don't know what kind of career or job they would really enjoy doing. I enjoyed reading your sample chapter, and would like to edit and proofread your book. As your editor, my job is to show your work in its best light. I'll do this by improving the language and writing style, making sure the book is geared to your audience of 20-30-year-old readers. Connecting with your audience really important, and the way workplaces are changing there is a lot to consider when choosing a career. If there are any mistakes I'll point them out to you, and fix errors of syntax, spelling, sentence structure, grammar and punctuation. What really struck me is that I think some of your paragraphs could be developed with more suggestions.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Julie Webb, and I’m a professional editor and proofreader with 36 years of experience, which includes editing/proofreading fiction and non-fiction books (including books on developing a career), handbooks, and textbooks.
