The job would require you to monitor and respond to emails, phone calls, and texts from 8am - 5pm Central Time - US. You would be receiving customer trucking orders via email, posting on load boards for trucks, communicating with carriers and negotiating rates, and sending confirmation sheets and collecting information about the load. We will provide a VOIP number and company email address. The job requires experience with trucking dispatch, trucking business, logistics, and freight.

Hello! You shall not find others as trustworthy. Where I come from, trust is essential in order to run a successful business. I came to Japan from Kenya as a naive twenty five year old. I learnt from the best and after twenty five years here (yes! You know my age now.) I can tell you that hard work alone doesn't cut it. Trust is also essentially one of the ingredients of a good relationship between employer-employee. Before I landed my dream job as a journalist for one of the oldest newspaper companies in Japan, The Asahi Shimbun, Nairobi Bureau, I worked as a personal assistant to the CEO of an insurance company. That is where I learnt that no job is too small or trivial for an assistant. After a couple of years there I worked as a journalist in Nairobi for fifteen years. I wanted to do my own thing and so I left that position to open a couple of ramen restaurants in upscale Nairobi. Social Media became my go-to tool for my businesses. I became a regular on Facebook and Instagram ads. Canva became my best friend in place of pen and paper. LinkedIn became the place where I hang out to recruit, networking and find suppliers.
