Content Marketing Specialist - Full Remote

The company is ready for vigorous new leadership. We seek a Content Marketing Specialist that can push our strategic business plan to new heights. The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to content development to drive demand, create brand awareness, and promote our solutions. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will be instrumental in producing effective content that resonates with the needs of our audience and further defines our brand voice. Responsibilities include writing and editing inbound marketing content such as landing pages, webinars, blogs, press releases, emails, whitepapers, case studies, contributed editorial, advertising, social, and collateral. As the newest member of a fast-paced, highly collaborative marketing team, the Content Marketing Specialist will work in many mediums, including print, digital, graphic, web, video, audio, and more. Success in this role depends upon a proactive and creative approach, paired with a fanatical dedication to driving marketing and sales results through content. Requirements Have written a minimum of 10 specialized articles, blogs or whitepapers for Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, Fintech, DevOps, Haskell, Software Development or Data Cloud Computing. 2+ years working in marketing and communications. BA in English, writing, journalism, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience. Strong capacity to create target messaging for different personas, CSuite, Managerial, IT department heads. Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, results-motivated and agile. Experience with a variety of content mediums, including several of the following and willingness to learn more: written, graphic, video, podcast, webinar, web/email, social, photography, etc. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, design applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), video editing (e.g., After Effects), content management systems (e.g., HubSpot). Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and the ability to apply best practices in content. Experience in one of the following: Blockchain, DevOps, Haskell, Data Cloud Computing and Software Development solutions and applications a must. Other Responsibilities Write captivating content for a variety of outlets, including our website, marketing, and sales emails, landing pages, digital/print ads, editorial, and press releases. Cultivate a deep understanding of the company’s multiple target audiences and the challenges, motivators and pain points they face. Participate in the development of 1-2 free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers and awareness (examples include ebooks, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, guides, webinars, videos, newsletters, etc.). Supply the company blog on an ongoing basis to educate and inform existing contacts and to attract new site visitors through search, social, and email subscribers. Work on cross-functional teams of writers, designers, marketing operations, sales, and external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant, targeted content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience. Administer submission and review of contributed blog and other content, including proofreading, editing, fact-checking, and optimization. Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
