Real estate - I want advice on how to handle a difficult escrow situation with closing. Buyer claims certain repairs were done, but the seller insists it is not true. Escrow agent was buyer's agent, and is insisting on mutual agreement, yet there is no clear path of action to how to resolve the difference of opinion. We'd like advice on the legal aspects of escrow and how it should be resolved. In addition, we'd like information on the lawyer's obligation vis a vis the role of buyer's agent and as escrow agent when the two come into conflict. We would like an initial analysis of the situation to determine whether to seek legal representation to file a claim.
