Analytics Consultant

We are looking for motivated and talented contractor who is driven to succeed. Needed to be onsite in Toronto, Canada for 2 days a week, walking distance from Union Station. Gain valuable experience while working on reporting What you will be accountable for:Gather requirements to implement reporting and intelligence to drive business strategy and create process efficiencies. Assistance in cleaning and preparing data to make it report ready. Documenting processes and procedures while assisting in the generation of a governance model and standardized reports Primary Responsibilities Creating solutions for clients in a number of formats, including Sisense, Qlliksense Training of end users on the analytical tools developed; Analyzing large amounts of data to provide concise, targeted reports for internal and external clients; Provide project management for IT implementations and database updates; Working with the development team and IT group to design reporting analysis tools for internal and external use; Writing functional and/or technical documents; Working with the technical team to establish protocols to extract data in a standardized process from a variety of data sources; The Business Intelligence Analyst will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time. Qualifications & Skills 3 to 4 years experience in similar Business Analytics roles Advanced working knowledge with SQL, and business intelligence applications. Good understanding and knowledge of working with Databases, SQL and scripts. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Familiar with Database design and modeling techniques, and ETL process. Experience with IT project management would be an asset; Ability to read data models and comprehend database structures and relationships; Strong ability to gather and analyze report requirements;
