I need code that can data log CSV to a SD card from a SUNKEE 10DOF I2C sensor with start(record), "new file" and stop buttons on an UNO. I have the sensor now and have tested each library/example from adafruit and found them to be functional with each of the 4 sensors. The L3G4200D a bit of a pain because the example sketch and .h files were written for the newer L3GD20 but I modified them to work with the older sensor. I can provide the appropriate library's including the modified L3GD20 lib. The plan is to use this setup to read the 10axis info 10-100 times per second. the whole system will be battery powered (I can deal with that) and strapped to a "downhill" mountain bike for data logging for analysis. The output file (CSV) will be then read into a program that will graph the data accordingly. All lines of code will have to be commented including an overall schematic of the program so I can make changes if needed. The sensors must be able to be adjusted (scale) and calibrated in code in the most easy way possible. There are other things but they are basic.

Hi! My Name Is Victor I am physics Engineer with a lot of experience in Embedded devices, and actually I work developing robots. I have treated that kind of problems before, I mean read and save a log of of how a system is in an interval of time. I guess I can help you with the "black box" of your bicycle. Even I can provide you a easy to use interface to change the set points or constants of the sensors over serial. In that way you dont have to change the whole program every time. What do you think? Have a nice day

Hello, I've prior experience in interfacing and working with I2C sensors on arduino platform. Sensor data was also handled in a csv format. I;ve written a PC side GUI application in QT to provide communication interface with I2C sensors and analyze data. I've arduino Uno board to carry out this development. As per post it looks your's is L3G4200D sensors. Pls. provide I2C slave addresses of each L3G4200D sensors. Also let me know what kind of SD card interface board you are using? Pls. send the modified library for L3G4200D. Also, how do you want file on SD card to be handled? Will it be a same file overwritten each time in each session? Or we'll be creating a new file for a new session? Any information about the buttons and their interfacing with arduino? I am assuming the work scope doesn't include graph plotting program which I suppose would be on PC side. I am ready to start on this immediately. Let me know when we can start. Best Regards, Polestar

Hello, This may be a bit of a long shot, I'll be honest with you up front.... I have no Arduino experience.... so why am I bidding? Well, I have plenty of experience writing code for the Atmel AVR micros both in Assembler and C. I am looking for an excuse to purchase an Arduino and get up to speed with it, to say nothing of the fact that as a keen MTBer I like the idea! So if you are not in a desperate rush and would be willing to help me down this path I can offer you all the time and support required to get your job done to your satisfaction for hopefully a low price for you. I am British and a native English speaker, so I can assure you that communication, which I believe is most important for a technical project, will be hassle free! And, if you are not happy and I can't sort it out, don't pay. What more can I say! Best regards, Paul Burger
