I've read your proposal, and understand that you want to build a fleet of EC2 servers running highcharts exports server, create images, export them to S3, and send emails with signed S3 urls so the images are only visible for someone with the signed URL... I have over 13 years experience with AWS as a platform, and would be happy to get you set up. I have a few questions: 1) Where is the data (to create the graphs) coming from? How will the process be triggered 2) You state EC2 instances, but I'm not convinced (until hearing the answer to (1)) that that's the simplest and most cost-efficient AWS solution - it may be simpler and cheaper, for example to use lambda functions if there isn't a steady stream of data, or to use ECS if there is a steady stream of data (because it will allow more vCPU utilization on node.js which is what highcharts runs on) 3) Why the insistance on signed cloudfront URLs? While I'm happy to do it your way because you're the customer, I want to point out that anyone with the URL can see the image, and they never expire, so there's no apparent advantage to signing the URLs then just using random filenames. Do they need to expire? If so, maybe just set a lifecycle policy on the S3 object (which will have the advantage of cleaning up your S3 saving space over time).
