Virtual Administrative & Light Bookkeeping/Accounting Assistance

CycleSCP is developing an internet-enabled bicycle parking structure that allows people to secure their valued bikes using a contactless card or a mobile app instead of personal locks and keys to help campuses and high-density buildings cut down bike theft and abandonment and increase ridership. I am working toward our 2nd semi-functional prototype. Do you want to help make transportation-oriented biking and parking easier?
To help accomplish our mission, this role will be handling the operational tasks that enable the team to do great work. It requires a self-motivated professional that is capable of managing varied tasks and priorities. Vigilance is crucial to ensure that we do not work on or spend too much effort on tasks that do not significantly move the needle on key strategic priorities and accomplishing our goals.
You will be starting at ~4-5 hours per month. A trial period will be 3 months which may be extended further depending on how this goes.
Deliverables (monthly):
1. Updated General Journal, General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, Income Statements, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements in cash-basis and accrual formats.
2. Scanned copies of any receipts or invoices of transactions you’ve handled.
3. Prompt informational responses to potential clients and users and team member applicants.
4. Proofread important key messages/blog posts when requested.
5. Schedule and coordinate follow-up of meetings with potential clients and users.
6. Record/document meetings and processes and/or process records for key learnings/highlights.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Experience creating deliverables above
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-directed and proactive
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Hangouts, and Zoom
- Experience scheduling appointments and calendars for others
- Must be able to schedule <=30 minute video calls between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm Pacific Time Mon - Fri up to 3 times per month
