Discogs Listings Matching Device (DLMD) is a standalone software for a user using keywords and other variables to find the closest matched listings in real time from Discogs data dump - [login to view URL] Discogs release a new version of their database every month in the format of XML, containing 4 main files, below are the March edition. [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] [login to view URL] DLMD will contain the following features - - Import of file [login to view URL] onto host system, the file will need to be extracted to become XML - Import downloaded XML and convert into MySQL database, showing all variables in separate fields - Allow user to upload Excel spreadsheet of mixed fields search terms, and provide real time result of the closest matches - Display search results as summary, with only artists, title, label and cataloger number, allow user to expand to view full details - Allow user to pick the correct listing, extract release_id and place it next to the original search terms imported from Excel - Export all results on .xls (Sucessfully matched or otherwise)
