Since I have worked on multiple high performance web server setup projects, I recommend using Nginx as your base web server solution instead of Apache. With proper tuning, it works lot better than apache and page load time is 1~3 seconds depending on the home page content. If your visitors are only from India, I recommend using Digital Ocean bangalore datacenter for low responce time. I would also recommend using Cloudflare for saving the bandwidth,improve the security and performance.
