Getting set up

I need an organized, efficient assistant to take on some research tasks associated with getting my consultancy set up. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, self directed, one-step-ahead thinker, proactive and quick to ask questions or raise issues. Smart, sometimes sassy, high energy results oriented professionals welcome to apply. For the first step in this project, I need to know the different types of certifications, business insurance and licensing I will need, tax implications of certain types of work, sourcing professional support, completing market research to help me understand the consultancy environment and getting the necessary pieces in place prior to launch. Communication will predominantly be via email with some Skype and/or phone calls. The terms of this project are limited to see if we work effectively together however, I would like to build a long-term working relationship with someone fantastic. Location not important but preference will be to someone in Western Canada with some consulting or professional service firm support experience. You will be working with a mid-career professional whose work challenges status quo, assists organizations with often difficult change and delivers top shelf, innovative solutions to clients. I work with medium size businesses to large, multinational firms and federal regulatory agencies. I am a driven, experienced professional who believes in open, transparent communication, mutually beneficial working relationships and striving to improve through every engagement.
