Conduct Industry Survey

**Seeking Skilled Marketing/Sales Individuals with Telemarketing or Telephone Survey Skills** General Information and Project Details This is a request for interested and skilled individuals or companies to submit their credentials for an upcoming project. Once we receive the requested information, the employer will evaluate and screen the submittals and select one or more companies or individuals to submit formal bids on the project. The project is to conduct a telephone survey to companies to find information about the software they use and if they have plans to change or purchase new software. The employer will provide a script for the survey and a customer relationship management (CRM) database (web based) for the worker to enter the information obtained from the telephone calls. The worker must provide their own resources (computer and communication devices) to make the telephone calls and record the information into the on-line database. ## Deliverables Worker Requirements: 1. The workers must have excellent American English language skills. 2. The workers must have at least 2 years experience conducting telephone surveys/interviews. 3. The worker must have the telephone skills to locate an individual within the company to obtain the information if the initial contact is not available or cannot provide the information. 4. The worker must be available for a telephone interview from the employer through Skype. The worker will provide their Skype information. The employer will communicate through vWorker for all emails. The project will be accomplished in phases. After the employer evaluates and select the workers, there will be a brief training period of about 1-2 hours during which the employer will run through the scripts with the workers. The workers will each be given 25 company names, contact names and telephone numbers for the initial survey. After completion of this initial survey, the employer will evaluate the results for each worker to determine how the employer will proceed with the remaining survey. This second evaluation will determine which of the workers will proceed with the next phase of the project. The quality and completeness of the survey information will be the prime factor in the second evaluation and selection. The total number of companies for this survey is approximately 1500. All of the telephone calls will be to all time zones in the U. S. A. (Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern) with the typical time of day for all calls to be between 0800 and 1700 hours. Generally, the workers will find that calls between 1130 and 1300 hours will produce poor results because of the mid-day meal. The employer expects each phone call to last approximately 6 minutes. However, there will be telephone calls for which there will be no answer, the person does want to participate in the survey or the person is not the correct contact. We cannot estimate the number of calls in these categories. Information Required from Workers 1. General description of the last 3 projects you worked on that are similar to this project. Number of calls made and average time to collect the information. 2. The type of communication device you plan to use to make the telephone calls. 3. Your self assessment of your American English language skills using the number one (1) as poor and five (5) as a native speaker. 4. Each worker submitting their credentials (vitae) will provide a U. S. dollar estimate for how they want to be paid for the project. The employer will consider: cost per completed call, cost per hour or cost for total project based upon the number of contacts. Project Schedule 1. The employer will collect the information from workers for a period of two weeks after posting of this project. 2. The employer, depending upon the number of received proposals, will spend 2-3 weeks evaluating the proposals and conducting telephone interviews. 3. The employer will not award the contract for 2-4 weeks after the final selection. So the work will not start immediately after final screening of the workers. The employer has some schedule flexibility and is willing to work with the worker to establish an acceptable schedule.
