Instruction The aim of this meta-analysis is to assess the prognostic significance of the neutrophil / lymphocyte ratio (NLR) in the stroke. It is taken as model the paper attached in the “model” file (Hong-Bo Yang et al, 2016). In the literature 15 papers have been found ( “papers” file). The meta-analysis would include: 1. Forest plot of high levels of NLR vs low levels of NLR for overcome survival (OS) 2. Publication bias 3. Mean value of cut off to predict bad overcome survival In addition the statistical study would be completed with subgroup and sensitivity analysis with the following variables: cutt offs for NLR (three levels, as the model study), pathological type (2 types: acute ischemic stroke / intracerebral hemorrhage) and region Eastern countries and Western countries). The discussion will be on us. We only need the statistical information. We've got 15 articles Attached is the model and 15 articles Note For meta analysis variables: NLR, number of patients, cut off of NLR and outcome survival (in 30, 60 or 90 days depending of the paper). Be in mind that we study has two pathologies: ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke. For subgroup and sensitivity analysis, we would like to analyze: 1. three subgroups of NLR cutoff: less than 3, 3 to 5 and more than 5; 2. Pathological type: ischemic and haemorrhagic stroke; 3. Country: western regions and eastern regions
