I need statistical data analysis to get annual, monthly & seasonal means of temperature and rainfall and also time series of the same for some 20 places of 30 years data sets. Also i need some Time series analysis for the same. I will send the data sets on notepad . I need the results on excel/notepad and some graphs and Time series analysis. (It can be done through R software easily since one software package will automatically calculate the indices and the graphs. But organization of data sets is essential related to missing data s and days) The software will generate the required graphs also.) Kindly advise and quote in this regard. Tasks: 30 years of data sets for example from 1981 to 2010 for 20 places Contains Daily mean temperature, Maximum , minimum and , rainfall data calculated means for monthly, seasons and annual for daily temperature, Maximum and minimum rainfall Time series and trends some selected indices calculation Data sets will be sent on note pad format . Temperature is in Fahrenheit. It should be converted to Centigrade first Data sets should be reorganized with Daily mean temp, Maximum Temperature and Minimum Temperature and Rainfall The sample result figures attached here for temperature and the expected indices to be calculated in the ETDC indices list. I may not need some of the indices. Will advise once you accept the task. Hope you have understand the requirement. Please also advise on the time line for the job. Hello, with R it easy to do including generate graphs and export the data in Excel (or other formats). The last year I have worked in a project in Mexico and mainly with R, including generate graphs and working with time series. I thing for the task I need 10 days. Hi... I am a Time series modelling guru. I am also good with R. I have done similar projects before. The graphs will be generated using R because it is the best in graphics. I can check for trends such as seasonality and cyclic in the data. On missing data there is a way of generating data or it can be set to zero or null. The temperatures I will convert from Fahrenheit to centigrade. The data shall be organised to your specification.

One more thing, since temperature and rainfall have a lot of other factors not just the variables that you mentioned the model that will be developed will be very crude because you are not covering a lot of other environmental and geological factors. The typical engagement cycle will follow the follow project plan: 1. Requirement gathering and analysis 2. Understanding the data that you have with you 3. Providing initial data processing results 4. Expectation Setting: this is an important part of the project because I mentioned earlier that the data points you are providing does not have enough information time series analysis might not be able to accurately predicts rainfall and temperature in future Also sometimes the data is in bad shape like have a lots of missing elements, if that is case I will tell that information in Stage 2 so that you can save your time and money 5.
