Adding Internet Radio to Soundboard App

I have a Christmas Sounds application for Android that has simple soundboard functionality. What I would like to do is update the application to add an Internet Radio streaming functionality. This is a free app and all I would like to do is have a section in the app that a user can go to that contains free internet radio stations specifically for Christmas. I would like to add search functionality, a media player with pause, stop, and play, and the ability for the internet radio stream to play in the background. I know there is a database online of internet radio stations and I would like to give my users access to those through the app. I will provide application code from Eclipse and will require testing on both Android handsets and tablet devices, including Amazon Kindle tablets. For reference, I would like similar functionality to the Christmas Radio apps in Google Play that have stations like [login to view URL] and similar Christmas internet radio stations.
