Create a prototype that captures the screen of a Windows 8.1 Store App (NOT a Windows Desktop App) to a video file. The capture must perform at 30fps or better. The capture must use h.264 and .mp4 container. Early analysis suggests that you should get the front buffer of the DX surface and convert to a bitmap. You can then use the Media Element Sink Writer to save the frames and encode them to a stream / mp4 container. To pull this off, you probably will require knowledge of Windows 8.1 SDK, DirectX and Media Foundation.

To be frank, I have a broad experience in programming DirecX, and I also worked on programming DirectX with the Windows 8 SDK on Windows 7, but I didn't work on programming Windows 8 at all, including Windows Store Apps, but I believe if I had some time, I would manage to achieve all this. Thanks.
