Blog: Using WordPress Socrates

This project is developing a blog website. The domain and lynx hosting are at GoDaddy. It must be set up with an “easy to edit or modify” interface using Wordpress-Socrates or something comparable. Hopefully if you are experienced, this will not be too tough. Initial setup must include the following features again, i assume that Wordpress Socrates makes this all reatively simple if you have done it before. Adsense ads on all pages Ability to chose and post affiliates on all pages Ability for anyone to post articles or comment on the articles (forum?). These article submissions would need to automatically be held for a manual screening process. Ability to opt in for emails with email address stored in a database. Ability to take credit cards: shopping cart with easy ability to change products for sale. Ability to take credit cards for subscriptions or donations. Simple SEO optimization features for adding and changing meta tags, title, and copy, etc. Frames for easy changes of pictures and layout for website duplication purposes Database for collecting email addresses and registrations Automatic email sending capabilities that have auto opt-out link or function on the bottom of the email sent. Receive news feeds that meet a certain keyword criteria. The buttons on the bottom to add the blog to the user’s LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. accounts. In other words, the ability to “add this site” as a friend on Facebook or to follow it on Twitter, etc. Tabs on the page would be: home, donate, products & services, take survey, useful links, FFACT Frontier, (news feeds), FFACT offenders, video links, contact us, and the ability to easily ad more tabs. Add Affiliate link capabilities. That is, the ability to click a button on the site to add an affiliate link to this blog from the user’s website. The ability to post (and change) questions for a survey. The user would answer ever changing questions with the results of the survey documented in the database and presented to the user after the survey is completed. A traffic counter or registration capability collecting users that opt-in. The number of users is tracked and that number is visible on the site. The ability to automatically receive and post articles from other blogs or websites to this blog. The ability to do easily do reciprocal links on the reciprocal links page. The ability to easily let users post videos (with admin ability to remove them) The project includes educating the owner on understanding the interface for editing and maintenance procedures.
