Development of Amazon Web Services CLI Deployment Script

I am developing a script which boots up EC2 instances and RDS instances using this tool: [login to view URL] 90% of the script is working. However some features are not currently working or implemented. This is a list of what needs doing: • Do a check to see if EC2 instances with a certain name are already running - if yes then quit • If not then start an EC2 instance with a specific name • Do a check to make sure the EC2 started successfully - if not error and quit • Do a check to see if there is an RDS snapshot • Get the name of the most recent timedated one • Restore this most recent time dated one • Create an RDS snapshot with a timedated name • Remove all EC2 instances with a specific name value I will send you the full code I have on request and give you access to the github repository. I will also be able to test your code live with an online amazon account.
