Contracts/Tendering specialists

I represent People Dynamics, a Doha based HR consulting and Executive Search company. The National Health Authority of Qatar , a client of ours is looking for specialists in the areas of Contracts and Tendering. These positions will be on a 6 month contract basis with an option of extension at the discretion of the employer. Salary and other benefits are not a constraint for the right candidate. Some of the areas of expertise that my client is look at are listed below • Bilingual Arabic/English with strong emphasis on spoken and written English proficiency • Ability to negotiate tenders • Proficiency in all stages of tendering & contracting • Strong Analytical Skills • Working knowledge of Government Contracting procedures & laws governing such activities • Strong knowledge of how to assess tendering/contracting risks & how to mitigate such risks • strong communication skills • Working knowledge of all types of outsourcing: Works, Services, & Consultancy. • Having worked previously within a well organized & structured environment where contracts/tendering procedures exist • Understanding of legal aspects of contracts • Understanding of the full cycle of tendering/contracts • Has a commercial sense of market trends • Awareness of confidentiality requirements & sensitivity of the Contracts/Tendering Process • Strong coordination capabilities with all departments concerned (esp. User Depts., Legal, Audit, and Finance) • Knowledge of Financial aspects & payment terms • Knowledge of Pricing & Payment Terms • Self-Organized & ability to Control Tendering/Contracts Documents • Has a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Package • Has some knowledge of project management processes • Has good applicable knowledge of claim/dispute resolution & claim/dispute resolution techniques. • A track record working in the area of contracts & tendering with min. exp. within area of contracts not less than 10 years If this position interests you, please forward your most recent CV to .
