I'm looking for the design and building of a prototype magnetic sensor that also converts the measurements to a digital format. Would like 6 hall sensors linearly spaced 50 mm apart and then data from each sensor output digitally at ideally 1 kHz.

Hello. I'm an electrical engineer/PCB designer. You may check my qualification in the profile . Your project is interesting for me. I see solution for your task in next steps - schematic and BOM: 6x sensors, ADC part (depends on sensor output type), MCU, UART-USB converter (drivers for winOS/Linux are free). Also supply part -PCB -manufacturing PCB -components order -soldering -firmware -prototyping . We may discuss any questions

Hello, This seems overly simple, so I am guessing there are untold details. What you ask for in the description is very easy, and I can also provide the assembled and tested boards if there are no exotic requirements. What is the signal you are attempting to capture? Just in case, are you aware you must be sampling >2X the speed of your expected fastest signals? With this being the case, your communictions must also be able to reliably send the data at 2X that rate, or >4X your signal rate. Let me know if I can be of service. Best regards, Stuart Borden.

I have a PhD degree in electrical engineering from Polytechnique Montreal. I have more than 8 years of experience working with Cadence ( 0.18um, 0.35um, and 0.13 CMOS technologies). During these years, I have designed and implemented several analog/mixed mode blocks such as amplifiers, sensor interfaces, filters, and analog to digital converters. I am so organized and punctuate in delivering projects and also capable of writing academic and technical reports with full details.

I will design the sensor like this: Hall sensor used: A1318 from Allegro Output from A1318 will be amplified using micro precision op-amp LMC7101 according to max dynamic range required. Then the amplified signal will be read by small microcontroller (PIC18F14K50) and i will design monitoring software for computer if you wish. Alternatively i can just output the digital format from the microcontroller (can be parallel or serial like SPI) then you could read it from microcontroller of yours. Circuit will be designed in altium. All source will be yours, including the small software monitor.
